Have you ever read a book that keeps you hanging on every word? Well if you didn't you should read The Hunger Games. This book is about this girl name Katniss Everdeen. She is scared and terrified because of the games. Her sister (Prim) gets into the hunger games. So she volunteers because she thinks her sister will die and she cares about her. The Hunger Games is a cruel battle and fight to the death. In the Hunger Games there are many characters who affect Katniss in important ways.
Prim affects Katniss because Katniss cares about Prim. In the beginning she is saying to Prim that you won't get in the games. Well turns out she did. So Katniss volunteers because she cares about her and she think that Prim will die. Peeta affects Katniss because durring the games Peeta got hurt. So Katniss gave him medicine because he was injured and hurt. Katniss also cares about him because she also wants to team up with him (Peeta) and doesn't want him to die.
In the Hunger Games there are many characters who affect Katniss in important ways. I care about it because in The Hunger Games Katniss about other characters like Prim. The more she cares about the characters the more she is scared of the games. This matters because if she die the people that affected her will be sad if she dies in the games but she didnt. Another reason why this matters because she made sacrifices to the people that she love. Teens can connect to this because in there family there is someone that cares about you and sacrifices a lot.
